The Path That Brought Me Here

I guide individuals and families through conversations that are often postponed until there is no time left to have them. We explore end-of-life wishes, care preferences, estate planning, legacy, and the many practical and personal decisions that surround dying and death.

But this work is about more than paperwork…

At the heart of this calling is Laura, a wonderful woman held forever in my heart, who made me acutely aware that planning for and remaining present with a loved one during their transition is one of the hardest, most honorable things we can do. Her influence is a guiding light in the work I share with clients today. And also to acknowledge, my late father and lovely, woo-woo grandmother, are also strong figures that have been supportive of this path.

My perspective has also been shaped by a lifelong spiritual journey. I was fortunate to grow up in a family that never shied away from death. We laughed, cried, leaned into humor, expressed anger, and spoke honestly about loss and the afterlife. They gave me the freedom to be curious about death, angels, ghosts, afer-life and all things New Age.

Through them, I learned that we can hold many truths at once: grief and laughter, uncertainty and curiosity, fear and wonder, love and loss. That capacity is one of the greatest gifts my upbringing gave me.

Today, I bring that blend of presence, warmth, and resilience into supporting others through life’s most delicate transitions with a team of death doulas for VSED (voluntary stop eating and drinking) cases. On a case by case basis, enjoy assisting families in respite or companion care in times of need. Please feel free to reach about services beyond education to see if our personalities and values are aligned.

In my spare time I indulge in the arts (music, ceramics, paper, film) , various wellness practices, and snuggle & play with my fur babies Bergie (cat) & Little (dog).
